HellO! I’m JESSIE.

I’m an illustrator and artist based in Durham, North Carolina. I love creating playful, story-driven work across children’s books, murals, and large-scale installations.

I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art where I earned my BFA in Illustration. My focus was children’s books for a while then two years postpartum I got my first mural job. It cascaded into something that felt right creatively and that brings me joy. Broadening my art practices has been extremely rewarding.

My intention with all my work is to be rooted in warmth, curiosity, and connection. I look forward to creating more in my community!
